Why does President Obama want Britain to stay in the EU?

In the 1970s, U.S. secretary of state Henry Kissinger said, “When I want to speak to Europe whom should I call”? The story highlights the fact that USA foreign policy wants to deal with one central authority in Europe.  The USA does not want the inconvenience of dealing with individual independent nation states.

After 1945, the USA paid millions of dollars to fund the “European Movement”.  The “European Movement” secretly worked towards creating a United States of Europe.  The release of declassified documents in 2000 showed that that the “American Committee for a United Europe” was a front organisation for the CIA.

The USA wanted a bulwark against the Soviet threat.  Evidence now shows that the CIA  clandestinely funded the ‘remain’ side in the 1975 British referendum. [xiv]

America is concerned with its own national interests – not that of the UK.  The USA has long interfered in the domestic politics of many nations around the world to further its interests.

President Obama has called for Turkey to become a member of the European Union!  Opening the doors to another 77 million potential migrants to the UK is a UK interest – not that of the USA.
